I installed the User Defined Forms ("UserForms") Module. Everything looked very promising (no error messages whatsoever), but when i tried adding some fields to a new custom form a white screen was displayed (/admin/EditForm).

According to several treads this is a common problem. Maybe I overlooked something, but I could not find an answer.

The main tab contains: $UserDefinedForm. Now why is that for?

Can somebody help me out?

Do you get any errors in your PHP error logs which would indicate the root cause?

If when adding a field you get taken to another screen that would suggest the javascript isn't working as the click action should be stopping any redirecting. Perhaps try a couple things

* Reload the admin with a ?flush=all
* Delete your combined files in assets/_combinedfiles/ (you can see this via the filesystem only not the back end)

Also try the latest daily build of UserForms and see if that gives you better luck.

Thanks Willr.

Reloading the admin did the trick. I was pretty sure I already tried that. More likely I am a noob.

btw. Very nice module!
