StripeCon EU 2018: See you in Enschede!

We’re excited to announce the continuation of the community led tradition that is, StripeCon Europe! StripeCon EU 2018 will be held in Enschede, The Netherlands on the 20th - 22nd September. Save the date!

What is StripeCon?

StripeCon, the conference dedicated to SilverStripe CMS/Framework, has been organised and hosted by the SilverStripe open source community for the past 4 years (Linz in 2014, London in 2015, Ljubljana in 2016, Malta in 2017). StripeCon EU is an opportunity for the European community to converge in one place and talk all things SilverStripe, sharing ideas with each other to help the community to be the best at what they do.

The conference

We’re planning another fantastic 2 day conference this year, bringing together a collection of interesting talks and insights from the community. The Conference will take place in “The Big Church” in the heart of Enschede, hosted by Twisted Bytes and Lemon8. Keep an eye on the event website for more updates and developments as they happen.

Calling all speakers

We’ve already locked in SilverStripe Senior Developer, Robbie Averill, to represent SilverStripe Ltd in Enschede and give a talk on a yet to be finalised topic..so watch this space.

We’d love to hear from you if you would like to come to Enschede and present a talk about SilverStripe and/or Web development. You can give a full-length talk from half an hour to an hour, going in depth about a project, module or aspect of SilverStripe you'd like to share. We’ll also be continuing the very popular "lightning talks": these are short talks where you can choose to share a showcase, project, open source contribution you've made (like a module), or anything else you can think of.
