Hello wonderful people! With the drawing close of another year, we have a few new things to share with you, and a few old things to clean up.

Check out 3.5.0

Firstly, we have now released SilverStripe 3.5.0. This release has a few visible changes, as well as some new api and security improvements under the hood.

You can check out the changelog here, or install with the below command:

composer create-project silverstripe/installer ./ss35 3.5.0

I think you dropped something

Secondly, we have removed a few branches from our github repositories in order to keep up with our support commitments. As of the release of 3.5.0, we are removing some versions from standard and long term support. This means that if you wish to install any of these versions you may still do so, but there will no longer be any development branches available, nor will we be accepting any future community contributions to these branches:

  • 3.0 (End of long term support already ended)
  • 3.1 (End of long term support ends 2016)
  • 3.2 (End of support ends 2016)
  • 3.3 (End of support ends 2016)

Users are suggested to upgrade to at least framework 3.4.2.
