Do you have an awesome website built in SilverStripe you want to show to the world? Do you want to increase the visibility of your work and company? We’ve got just the right tools for you.
We’ve made some improvements to the Community Showcase section on our site—this is where SilverStripe developers can share a case study of their work. It could be a website, app or intranet built with SilverStripe CMS/Framework. It may use community modules or your own.
We’ve simplified the process of submitting a case study, making it really easy for you to show off your projects and spread the word.
How do I showcase a site?
If you are not part of the SilverStripe community, you need to create your own account first. Once you’re logged in, adding your site to the Showcase section is as simple as taking a couple of screenshots and/or writing a short explanation.
All of these tasks are done via a user-friendly online form. Once you click the submit button, just sit back and relax. We’ll review in a few days and get your case study online.
Featured sites
Sites that include a full case study of how SilverStripe was implemented and/or showcase exciting clients that raise the brand of SilverStripe are eligible to be “featured showcases”. These receive higher prominence including appearing in the header panel of the Showcase page, gaining maximum exposure for your work. One a month a featured showcase will also be highlighted on our blog with further details on your project and other relevant work that you want to share.
What’s in it for me?
So why should you go to the trouble of adding a site? Well, since you’ve built something awesome, you want to show it off to the world, right? There are also many benefits of having your work featured on SilverStripe sites.
The Showcase section is viewed by thousands of visitors per month, which means many people will know your work. Increased visibility for your work and company has the potential to increase your future projects, expand your client base and you can then build more awesome websites. Also, once you have an approved showcase, you can apply to be listed in our Developer Directory. Showcases are also listed on your profile and Developer Directory listing—giving you a place to show off all your SilverStripe sites and win new clients.
So if you have a site that needs the world to stop and take notice of, head off to our Community Showcase and add that site now!
