SilverStripe welcomes Alloy as a Professional Partner

We’re excited to welcome a new digital agency to the SilverStripe Professional Partner network: Alloy. Based in Wellington, Alloy is an integrated digital agency specialising in end-to-end service delivery, with experience across a broad client base including government.

Tell us a bit about the culture at Alloy.

We’re a bunch of easy-going, fun, intelligent, and humble humans who love what we do and the opportunities that we’re provided. Every day, we’re reinventing what we know to be possible, upskilling, and constantly challenging ourselves and our thinking.

How did you discover SilverStripe?

Our development team had experience developing on a range of proprietary and open-source CMS's. They found SilverStripe to be the most flexible from a developers point of view and best in terms of ease-of-use for content managers.

How does your agency currently use SilverStripe?

We use it for any site that requires some form of content management.

Why do you recommend clients use SilverStripe over other options?

SilverStripe wins on its speed to develop features and robustness. It also has great documentation with code examples and readily available support.

What was Alloy’s biggest agency milestone this past year?

Running Livecasts for Department of Corrections. We used the SilverStripe Cloud Platform which allowed us to scale up the production environment for each Livecast event to handle the increase in the number of users to the site. Access to Platform support staff during events gave us confidence that if any performance issues arose, we could work through them.

What goals do you hope to achieve with Alloy and SilverStripe in the next year?

Continuing to leverage SilverStripe and SilverStripe Cloud Platform for new clients and migrating existing clients’ legacy sites.
