The end of Junk Free June

As winter fully sets in here in windy Wellington, the SilverStripe team preps to wrap up our month of Junk Free experiments.

The month has been hard, trying, and somewhat painful—but a huge success! We have officially passed our target amount of $1000 and we are so grateful for all the support from everyone who has donated and helped us make the most out of the month.

Giving up treats and junk has been difficult, but the best part was that it was for a great cause. Junk Free June has had over 11,000 participants and with one day to go, has raised over $350,000 for the Cancer Society of New Zealand.

The team here at SilverStripe want to say a HUGE thank you to all that have donated, made us healthy treats, and resisted waving pizza in front of our faces for 30 days. Special thanks to our SilverStripe partner, the Little Giant, for the inspiration. Hopefully, some of the good habits we picked up this month will continue on past June .. perhaps Dry July?
