Xebidy has been developing websites on the SilverStripe platform since the beginning of 2007. We boast over 50 international clients - many of whom have engaged Xebidy for web strategies, design and development and ongoing web marketing contracts.

Xebidy was officially formed as a development team in March 2007, although Managing Director Dan Roberts had been working under the brand of Xebidy on large projects for Adventure Tours Australia, Base Backpackers (part of the Accor Hotel Chain) and Breathe New Zealand since mid 2006, based in Portugal, Australia and New Zealand.

Since formation of the development team Xebidy has developed many large scale market leading websites.  Some of these have been on the back of extensive market research and strategy undertakings.  Examples include Adventure Tours Australia, Oz Experience, Backpacking Queensland, IDIDIT and Travel Generation.  

In total Xebidy boasts over 50 international clients.

Xebidy develops almost exclusively on the Silver Stripe platform.  

Xebidy uses SilverStripe as our web platform because it is more than just a content management system but also a development environment; for example, we have developed web applications such as www.travelgeneration.com,  www.ididit.co.nz and the Discover Australia Travel Agent online reservations system on SilverStripe without the actual content management aspect.

Xebidy has made one significant change to the SilverStripe CMS – the addition of the Bootstrap drag and drop interface.  The Bootstrap drag and drop interface makes the CMS very simple, intuitive and user friendly.  One of the main differences is that the you are not restricted in the way you build up pages. We believe most content management systems have too many restrictions that one part of a page must be an image, another a set of text. There is no flexibility to change that. The Bootstrap Interface on the SilverStripe CMS adds the functionality to simply drag and drop any content anywhere on the page and then use CSS to strictly control how the website looks.
