LearningPlanet (LP) is a online training resources library assisting professionals to corporate train across sales, service and leadership functions.
Our Challenges
LP were an existing customer who came to Netinsites with a requirement to market their brand better online while giving customers easy access to a secure logged in area that housed their training resource library of documents and in-house developed videos.
The secure logged system needed to integrate login details with a third party Website that housed the documents and also show their videos on all devices.
Our Solutions
It was determined that the best platform to house their videos was Vimeo, so the Vimeo API was integrated with the SilverStripe framework to show their videos within a secure logged-in area. Users were able to search for videos by keyword and see the latest content.
Also a subscription/payment system that worked with the third-party document library API had to be developed.
Results
As a result of an interactive enabled web portal built on SilverStripe, LearningPlanet had more returning users and increased traffic.
