Odlo, a Premium Functional Sportswear brand approached Brandnation with the task of producing a multilingual combined solution for both its brand website and its e-commerce functions. Working closely with Odlo’s e-commerce specialist, Brandnation designed and delivered a hybrid site that seamlessly serves multiple territories and languages with thousands of products.
The combined Silverstripe and Magento solution was chosen due to the unparalleled functionality it offers in terms of content management as well as its UX, ease of use and e-commerce delivery. Both platforms are very user-friendly, simple and yet powerful to deliver the full range of day to day admin tasks. SilverStripe is primarily used to manage and replicate multitier content delivery across different locales with ease. It also delivers an advanced store locator using Google Maps API and manages a heavy use of Translatable module with modifications. Magneto handles the product catalogue, stock control, ERP and CRM integration along with general online shop functionality.
