Project background

Whitireia New Zealand is a government owned and funded tertiary education institute with campuses in Auckland, Wellington, Kapiti and Porirua. Serving over 7,000 students, Whitireia provides higher education for the arts, business and IT, health, trades and Te Wānanga Māori

The goal of the project was to design and build an easily maintainable website that delivered the best user experiences to existing and new students. The desired outcome of the new site was to increase enrolment and drive engagement to whitireia.ac.nz. Thoughtful additions to the website allow Whitireia staff to cross publish and manage content to on bother their site and the new Te Auaha site, resulting in a leaner approach to running multiple sites.
